Why does IMPACT use a Creative Commons licence?

We think that it should be easy to understand what you can and cannot do with other people's materials. Creative Commons is a great initiative that is enabling people around the world to do just this by dealing with some of the key issues in IP licensing in an easy to understand way. Because of this we believe that Creative Commons is perfect for licensing the materials on a free site like IMPACT.

Creative Commons isn't designed for commercially licensed materials but is suitable for many other types of creative materials.
